There are main duties of Architect Council of Thailand, including:

1. To issue, suspend, or cancel licenses to practicing architects
2. To certify degrees, diplomas, certificates, knowledge and expertise for practicing architects
3. To give advice to the Interior Minister to judge or terminate the architectural profession
4. To issue articles of the Architect Council, including:
1. Admission, registration, and maintenance fees of members
2. Selection and election of committee members
3. Qualifications, terms and vacancies of offices of the examiners
4. Requirements, qualifications, and prohibited characteristics of the applicants for licenses
5. Proper and improper behavior and standards of the Architectural profession
6. Conduct of general meeting
